Creating a wildlife garden

Its possible to get wildlife into any garden whether its large or small. Over the last few years there has been a dramatic drop in the number of garden bird species. Fauna like bees and butterflies have dropped in numbers.  The public has reduced their gardens for driveways or decking and patios. However the least maintenance intensive method for a large lawn is to allow some of it to become wild, or seed it with wildflower seeds. When done properly this can become an attractive addition to any garden.

Any animal species really only needs 3 things to survive food, water, and shelter. Provide these in your garden and you are bound to achieve success in attracting new wildlife there.

JTP Conservation Services can help create habitats in your garden by, for example adding

· Bird boxes

· Bat boxes

· Bee houses

· Log piles

· Butterfly houses

· Insect houses

Landscape design with wildlife in mind.

Have you moved to a new house?

Have you got some unused land?

JTP conservation Services can plan, design and change a bare plot of land to one with a number of habitats within it, attracting a wide variety of species  and something that looks good.

 Such as  -

· Ponds

· Woodland or specimen trees

· Hedges ( native or ornimental)

· Wildflower flower patches (by seed or pot grown plants)

· Beetle banks

· Dry stone walls or stone features

The more habitats you create the more species you will find there.
